HARRIS TECHNOLOGY July 2007 - June 2008

A5 NEWSPAPER AD:
This was designed to go in local and national newspapers. It was placed on the bottom corner of a right hand page to maximise placement and used a spot colour (red). I was given a couple of hours to create this and to get approved by my manager and the buyer for HP before going to print. The brief was to create something eyecatching using Harris Technologys style guide. The campaign was extremely successful with over 300 units being sold.

NEWSPAPER AD
Created for the then new Indooripilly store. Using Harris Technologys spot red and style guide. It also had to tie in with the catalogue that month. Again I was given very little time and had to have it approved quickly by the buyers for SanDisk as well as my manager.

NEWSPAPER STRIP AD
Tight deadline again with this strip ad. The photo of Cameron (pictured) was taken by myself as we were integrating personalisation to all our advertising material. This ad had very little space and alot of information so it was a challenge to get all the information in whilst still keeping it aesthetically pleasing and eye catching. This was a typical challenge at Harris and one that I thoroughly enjoyed.

We often went to other stores to take photos of other team members for variety which was an extremely fun aspect of the job. As well as meeting fellow team members we also got to see what each store was doing for point of sale and whether they needed more POS ie tags for stock, instore posters etc. It was also interesting as we found out from managers what was working for them and their customers.
