AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION MAGAZINE:
Working for Trade Media Group was a little different to my other roles. As well as working with designers to create the magazines layouts I was in charge of assigning all the magazines stories to writers and arranging photography for various projetcs all around Australia. As a part of my role I was also required to hire writers and photographers and ensure that all material was collected and then uploaded onto the server for myself or other designers to put together for the magazine. Initially the magazine was quaterly but was bumped to bi-monthly.
Getting the photographer onsite for The Brisbane Airport Redevelopment was tricky due to anti-terror and security measures. In the end I had to speak with at least ten people before being gaining access for our photographer. This was quite typical in my position as many companies were involved on large projects that
involved Government Departments as well as major constuction companies such as Bovis Lend Lease.
